Executive Assistant

Your new company

Our State Government client is seeking an Executive Assistant for a temporary 3-month contract with the possibility of extension, supporting a senior executive within a large and complex public sector organisation.
This position will see you working closely with an Executive Director, providing high-level executive and administrative support in a fast-paced environment where professionalism, discretion and strong organisational skills are essential.


Your new role

  • Manage a complex executive diary, appointments and scheduling requirements.

  • Coordinate meetings, workshops and stakeholder engagements.

  • Prepare correspondence, reports, presentations, agendas and briefing papers.

  • Coordinate incoming and outgoing communications on behalf of the Executive Director.

  • Monitor actions, priorities and deadlines, ensuring timely follow-up.

  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.

  • Manage confidential and sensitive information with discretion.

  • Maintain accurate records and administrative systems.

  • Provide day-to-day executive support to facilitate the effective operation of the business unit.


What you'll need to succeed

  • Previous Executive Assistant experience supporting senior executives, directors or executive leadership teams.

  • Outstanding organisational and time management skills.

  • Strong written communication and document preparation abilities.

  • The ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills.

  • High attention to detail and a proactive approach to work.

  • Experience within Government, or other complex organisations will be highly regarded.
