DIDO HR Business Partner

Job description

Our client is seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to join their site-based team at their mining operation.

This role will be integral in supporting the continued development of the business partnering model and offers a genuine blend of strategic influence and operational delivery within a safety‑focused, high-performing owner/operator environment.

Reporting to the P&C Manager, you will work closely with site leaders to enable strong people outcomes, provide practical HR guidance, and contribute to the ongoing development of leadership capability and organisational effectiveness.

You will act as a trusted advisor to the site management team, coaching and influencing leaders to build capability, accountability and performance. You will contribute to workforce planning, organisational change and continuous improvement initiatives aligned with operational objectives. Through strong stakeholder engagement, you will support a consistent and values-driven culture while balancing business risk, compliance and productivity in a complex operational setting.

Generalist in your capability, you will support the employee and contractor workforce, providing timely and practical advice on employee relations, performance management, policy interpretation, industrial instruments and compliance.

It is essential that you have proven experience as an HR Business Partner from within the mining, resources or heavy industrial sectors. You will be able to demonstrate your ability to collaborate at a strategic level whilst providing coaching and development to influence practical outcomes. It is essential that you have a working knowledge of the Fair Work Act and National Employment Standards for Australia and hold a tertiary qualification in human resources or a related specialism.

The position will be offered on the basis of a DIDO 9 day fortnight with camp-based accommodation. Site based allowance will also be offered.

If you enjoy being close to the business and making a tangible impact on site, we encourage you to apply.
