Your new role

We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Business Partner to join a large-scale mining operation in the Northern Territory on a temporary contract through to 31 December 2026, with potential for extension.
Operating on a 4 days on, 3 days off roster, this FIFO opportunity is available from Darwin.

Working closely with operational leaders, you will provide both strategic and operational HR support across workforce planning, employee relations, organisational design, talent development and change management initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with leaders to build high-performing and engaged teams
  • Provide advice across performance management, employee relations and people development
  • Drive workforce planning, talent and succession initiatives
  • Lead complex ER and IR matters while ensuring compliance and best practice
  • Support organisational design and change management projects
  • Champion a positive, inclusive and safety-focused workplace culture

What you'll need to succeed

  • Proven HR Business Partner experience within a complex operating environment
  • Strong ER/IR knowledge and experience managing sensitive employee matters
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement, coaching and influencing skills
  • Experience supporting organisational change and workforce planning initiatives
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or a related discipline, or equivalent experience
