Your new role

Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, you will be responsible for:
  • Developing and maintaining supply plans to support forecasted customer demand
  • Balancing inventory levels to achieve service targets while minimising excess and obsolete stock
  • Collaborating with demand planning, procurement and operational teams to identify and mitigate supply risks
  • Managing replenishment planning and intercompany stock transfers
  • Coordinating with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure material availability
  • Supporting S&OP activities through supply planning insights and recommendations
  • Monitoring and reporting on inventory and supply chain KPIs
  • Maintaining planning parameters and master data within SAP
  • Coordinating annual stocktakes, including reporting and variance investigations
  • Identifying and implementing process improvement initiatives to enhance planning effectiveness

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:
  • Previous experience in a Supply Planner, Materials Planner, Inventory Planner or similar supply chain planning role
  • Strong SAP experience, particularly within MRP planning processes
  • Experience working within a manufacturing environment
  • Strong inventory management and replenishment planning capability
  • Exposure to S&OP and cross-functional supply chain collaboration
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
Experience within chemical, pharmaceutical, industrial manufacturing, FMCG or other complex manufacturing environments will be highly regarded.
