Our client is continuously growing where they have available vacancies for a new Warehouse Storeman to join their North Brisbane team.

Your new role

As their new Warehouse Storeman, you will be responsible for the following duties & responsibilities, but not limited to:

• Contribute to maintaining and updating the inventory database
• Assist in pick and pack processes
• Receipting of inbound and outbound deliveries in accordance to policies & procedures
• Operate a counterbalance forklift to transport stock around the warehouse as well as loading and unloading
• Manage telephone and service enquires in support of the office
• Assist in routine stock takes as directed by supervisors & managers.
• Organise deliveries in and out of the warehouse
• Carry out delivery driving of goods to customers and clients
• Communicate and liaise with customers regarding their order requests and available stock
• Follow all health and safety procedures and protocols
• Regular contribution to maintaining a safe and hazard-free work environment
  
  

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful in this Warehouse Storeman position, you will need to hold or obtain the following:

• High Risk Work – LF Forklift Licence
• Previous experience operating counterbalance fork trucks
• A valid open QLD driver's licence, MR Licence is highly desirable
• Proven experience and exposure to warehouse, manufacturing environments
• Great attention to detail
• Well-organised and great time management skills
• Ability to communicate and liaise with internal departments, external partners and customers
• Collaborate well in a team whilst being able to work independently when required
• Support managers and supervisors when required
