Your new role

• Processing weekly and fortnightly payrolls for approximately 800 employees
• Managing payroll across multiple Australian states
• Interpreting and applying multiple Enterprise Agreements and Awards
• Processing payroll for both blue-collar and white-collar workforces
• Managing payroll queries and resolving discrepancies in a timely manner
• Ensuring compliance with payroll legislation, taxation, superannuation and award requirements
• Assisting with payroll reporting, reconciliations and end-of-period activities
• Supporting continuous improvement initiatives within payroll processes

What you'll need to succeed

• Previous experience as a Senior Payroll Officer or highly experienced Payroll Officer
• Proven experience managing complex, high-volume payrolls
• Strong understanding of Awards, Enterprise Agreements and payroll legislation
• Experience processing payrolls across multiple states
• Ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities
