Your New Role

You will be responsible for:

  • Create and manage project plans and schedules.
  • Give advice and provide admin support to staff and stakeholders.
  • Research and analyse information and draft reports and documents.
  • Help with regular project updates and reporting.
  • Prepare business cases, plans, and briefs for review.
  • Track budgets, report spending, and assist with contracts and procurement.
  • Identify and manage project risks and issues.
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Make sure project outcomes meet quality standards and client needs.

What You Will Need to Succeed

The successful applicant will demonstrate:

  • Strong understanding of project management methodology, with the ability to develop and maintain project artefacts to support planning, monitoring, and delivery.
  • Well-developed Microsoft 365 skills.
  • Advanced communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships and manage expectations.
  • Strong organisational skills and experience in government administration, enabling efficient and compliant project delivery.
  • Australian Citizenship is required.

The Logistics

  • Contract until December 31st, 2026 – with possibility for extension or permanency.
  • $55.24 per hour (plus superannuation).
  • Hybrid working arrangement.
  • Opportunities available in Newcastle & Campbelltown (NSW).
