Job description

We have up to 15 positions available for harvest workers on vegetable farms in Bairnsdale, VIC.

Work is due to start August 2026 and is expected to go for 9 months.

You will be paid as a Level 1, Fulltime Employee under the Horticultural Award 2020 (MA000028). Hourly or Piece Rates may apply.

There may be an opportunity to undertake training and upskilling in this role, which can allow your remuneration to increase as per the levels in the Level 1, Fulltime Employee under the Horticultural Award 2020 (MA000028) award

The position is for a harvest worker on a vegetable farm and will include but not limited to tasks such as picking, packing and planting vegetables & general farm duties.

This position requires the availability for shift work over a 7-day roster. Minimum of 38 hours a week, 7am-4pm though at times this may change due to the seasonal needs of the business.

Please note that random drug & alcohol testing may be conducted.

• Ability to follow detailed instructions
• Ability to work continuously at a high level of concentration
• Must be physically fit, agile & able to stand for long periods
