Your new role

• Laboratory Testing: Preparing and testing soil samples, conducting particle size analysis, plasticity testing, and soil strength testing. Accurate weighing, measuring, and data entry are essential.
• Field Testing: Sampling and testing concrete, performing field density testing with a nuclear gauge (licence required), and conducting heavy lifting.
• Drilling: Sampling soil using a truck-mounted drill rig, operating a 35kg jackhammer, and recording data.
• Coring: Performing asphalt coring on live roads, using drills and core bits, and logging samples.

What you'll need to succeed

• Motivated, reliable, and physically fit
• Attention to detail and good situational awareness
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• C Class Licence mandatory: own transport preferred; MR or HR licence (or higher) desirable
• No experience necessary – full training provided, but any experience is highly regarded.
• Availability to work 6 days a week, including day and night shifts (Sunday to Friday)
• Ability to complete CHC and Drug & Alcohol checks.
