Your New Company
Our client is a highly respected and long-standing apartment builder with an outstanding reputation across South East Queensland. Your New Role
We are currently seeking an experienced Excavator Operator for a 6-week contract on a busy high-rise construction project in the Central Gold Coast. Operating primarily 5–15 tonne excavators, you will play a key role in supporting site preparation, excavation works, and civil construction activities while working closely with site supervisors and ground crews.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate 5–15 tonne excavators safely and efficiently
  • Carry out bulk and detailed excavation works
  • Assist with trenching, backfilling, and site preparation
  • Work alongside ground crews and other plant operators
  • Complete daily pre-start checks and basic machine maintenance
  • Adhere to all site safety requirements and procedures

What You Will Need to Succeed
  • Excavator ticket
  • Construction White Card
  • Minimum 12 months' experience operating excavators
  • Experience working on civil, commercial, or high-rise construction projects
  • Strong awareness of site safety and excavation practices
  • Reliable transport and a strong work ethic
