Hays Specialist Recruitment is on the lookout for experienced Cleaners to join the dynamic team within the City of Gold Coast Council’s Infrastructure Maintenance branch. Your new role

As a Public Facilities Cleaner, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our public spaces remain spotless and inviting for everyone. This temporary position offers a standard roster from 5am - 2:30pm. You will have the opportunity to work in different locations, meet new people, and make a tangible difference in the community every day. Whether you are an early bird or a night owl, this role provides the perfect balance of routine and excitement. Your duties will include, but are not limited to:

• Public area cleaning, including litter collection
• Public toilet cleaning and BBQ cleaning
• Replacing bins and bin liners
• Cleaning recovery operations following storms

What you will need to succeed

We are seeking dedicated, detail-oriented individuals who take immense pride in their work. The perfect candidate will showcase proven reliability, a strong work ethic, and excellent attention to detail. You will thrive in a team setting and be committed to maintaining a safe work environment. To excel in this role, you must be available on weekdays, weekends, and public holidays and meet the following requirements:

• Construction White Card (mandatory)
• Passport or Birth Certificate
• Current Driver's Licence
• 2x Employment References
• Must be able to pass Pre-Employment test prior to starting
• A strong commitment to adhering to safety standards
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• An up-to-date CV detailing your industry experience, along with two recent references to support your application
