We are partnering with a leading Australian design and manufacturing business that has been delivering award-winning projects across retail, commercial interiors, exhibitions, events, and display solutions for more than 30 years. Due to continued growth, an exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Electrician to join their established team based in Sydney's North Shore.
Your new role
Working across a diverse range of exhibition, event, commercial fit-out, and display projects, you will be responsible for the installation, testing, and maintenance of temporary and permanent electrical systems while supporting project delivery across Australia.
Key responsibilities include:
- Installation and maintenance of electrical systems for events, exhibitions, and commercial projects
- Temporary power distribution and lighting installations
- Reading and interpreting electrical drawings and specifications
- Coordinating with project managers, installers, and site teams
- Testing, fault finding, and ensuring compliance with Australian standards
- Supporting interstate project deliveries and event installations when required
- Maintaining a strong commitment to workplace health and safety
What you'll need to succeed
- Current NSW Electrical Licence
- White Card and current driver's licence
- Minimum 5 years' post-trade experience
- Experience within events, exhibitions, commercial fit-outs, entertainment venues, or similar project environments
- Strong understanding of power distribution, lighting systems, and electrical infrastructure
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight project timeframes
- Working at Heights and Test & Tag certifications highly regarded
