Join a well-established and respected engineering workshop specialising in the repair and overhaul of industrial motors, generators, pumps and rotating equipment.
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Fitter / Motor Rewinder to join a busy workshop environment where quality workmanship and technical expertise are highly valued.
Your new role
Dismantle, inspect and assess AC/DC motors, generators and rotating equipment
Perform motor rewinding, stator and rotor repairs
Test and fault-find electrical components and equipment
Conduct repairs, overhauls and rebuilds of industrial motors and generators
Measure, record and report on component condition and dimensions
Assemble and test equipment prior to dispatch
Complete workshop and occasional site-based work as required
What you'll need to succeed
Trade qualified Electrical Fitter, Motor Rewinder or similar
Experience rewinding AC and DC motors
Ability to fault find and test electrical equipment
Experience with generators, alternators, transformers or rotating equipment highly regarded
Ability to read technical drawings and specifications
Strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship
Current driver's licence
Full Australian working rights
