• Lead and manage the design process across all project phases.
• Coordinate and manage external consultants, ensuring deliverables meet project objectives.
• Drive design quality, buildability, cost control and programme outcomes.
• Manage design coordination during construction and resolve on-site design issues.
• Oversee the preparation and assessment of design and construction tender packages.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders, consultants and contractors to maintain project alignment.
• Ensure compliance with relevant planning, regulatory and building requirements.
• Review and optimise designs to balance commercial, aesthetic and construction objectives.

What you'll need to succeed

• 10+ years' experience in Architecture, Design Management or a related discipline.
• Previous client-side or developer-side experience on large-scale projects.
• Proven ability to manage design through construction and resolve complex design issues.
• Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, design documentation and consultant management.
• Experience assessing design and construction tenders.
• Sound understanding of relevant building codes, planning requirements and industry standards.
• Proficiency reviewing technical drawings and design documentation.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication and problem-solving skills.
