My client is a national Tier 2 civil contractor with family values, and has grown and continuing to grow now delivering packages in excess of $50m. The current Project Manager I know very well having dealt with him for a number of years. He is looking for an experienced senior civil engineer that can step in, run projects and allow him to step away and run other parts of the business. Real family values all while delivering quality and submerged in the Data Centre industry with projects for years to come.

The projects lined up after each other in the North, and West of Melbourne.
Packages around that $20- 40m.

Your new role

You will be responsible and capable of running civil packages around that $20-40m. You will be responsible for overseeing planning, delivery, budget, schedule, stakeholders, risk and compliance across complex, mission-critical projects. Works will include earthworks, drainage, piling, car parks. Strong focus on capability to manage and drive subbies, cost tracking, forecasting and dealing with unions.

The ideal candidate will step up to Project Manager- our client is growing and wants this person to evolve into an even more of a leadership role as they continue to win work across Victoria and beyond.

What you'll need to succeed

Civil Engineering Degree

5-10 years experience working for a Victorian Tier 1 or 2 civil contractor

Strong communication and confidence to deal with site duties
Project experience; earthworks, roads, carparks, piling etc
Abel to be based on site West Melbourne
