This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly regarded global financial services organisation with a strong presence in wealth management and investment services. Supporting a team of experienced Financial Advisers, you will work with a sophisticated client base, including Mandarin-speaking high-net-worth individuals and families.

Located in Melbourne CBD, this position offers exposure to investment markets, portfolio management and wealth advisory services within a collaborative and professional environment. The role is initially offered as a 12-month contract, with strong potential for extension and the possibility of a permanent opportunity for the right individual.


Your new role

As a Client Service Manager, you will support two to three Financial Advisers and act as a key point of contact for clients across a range of administrative, relationship management and investment support activities. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing client enquiries and delivering a high level of client service

  • Supporting predominantly Mandarin-speaking clients and stakeholders

  • Assisting with client onboarding and account establishment

  • Preparing client documentation and maintaining accurate records

  • Managing AML, KYC and compliance requirements

  • Assisting with portfolio reporting and client review preparation

  • Processing asset transfers, cash transfers and account maintenance requests

  • Supporting corporate actions, stock settlements and investment transactions

  • Liaising with internal teams to ensure timely completion of client requests

  • Building strong working relationships with advisers and clients

  • Supporting ongoing process improvement initiatives and operational efficiencies


What you'll need to succeed

  • Fluent Mandarin language skills, both written and spoken
  • Cantonese language skills will be highly regarded
  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Business, Commerce, Economics or a related discipline
  • Ideally, 1 to 5 years of experience in wealth management, private wealth, private banking, financial planning, asset management, funds management or investment banking
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • High attention to detail and strong organisational abilities
  • Exposure to client onboarding, portfolio administration or investment operations
  • RG146 qualification, or a willingness to obtain it
  • Full Australian working rights, Australian Permanent Residency, Partner Visa or a suitable visa with more than 12 months remaining validity
