Your new role
This is an Adelaide-based Associate position on a 24 month fixed term contract, supporting two Investment Advisers. The role would suit an experienced Associate, ideally with 3 to 5 years in a similar wealth management or financial services support role.
Duties will include:- Conduct client onboarding, account opening, ongoing account maintenance and portfolio administration
- Support two Advisers with meeting preparation, follow up actions, proposals, pitch documents and review packs
- Manage settlement obligations including funds and securities due, cash and asset transfers, margin calls, corporate actions, quote requests, IPOs and placements
- Work closely with clients, Advisers and internal teams including Operations, Investment Solutions, Financial Planning and Wealth Management
- Coordinate cash and stock transfers, corporate actions and international trading execution
- Assist with client queries, routine account issues and documentation updates, with a strong focus on service and accuracy
- Proactively manage annual reviews, risk profile renewals and expiring documentation
What you'll need to succeed
- Experience in private wealth management, stockbroking, investment advice support or a similar financial services role
- Ideally 3 to 5 years experience in an Associate or comparable client support role
- Strong client service, communication and relationship management skills
- High attention to detail, strong organisation skills and the ability to prioritise in a fast-paced environment
- A resourceful, self-starting approach with a high focus on compliance and service standards
- Experience with AML/KYC, client onboarding or account maintenance would be highly regarded
- RG146 accreditation, or willingness to obtain it quickly. Managed funds and securities capability would be highly regarded
- Experience within wealth management or a similar sector is preferred
