Our client is a well-established and highly regarded civil contractor with a strong presence across SA. The business has built an outstanding reputation for delivering complex civil infrastructure projects across transport, land development, utilities and public infrastructure sectors. Due to continued growth and a healthy project pipeline, an opportunity has arisen for a Senior Project Manager to join their leadership team and play a key role in the successful delivery of major projects across the state.

Your new role

As a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading the delivery of multiple civil infrastructure projects from pre-construction through to completion. Working closely with senior leadership, clients, consultants and site teams, you will oversee project performance, commercial outcomes, stakeholder management and resource planning while ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget. Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing the end-to-end delivery of civil infrastructure projects valued between $10M and $100M+.
• Leading project teams including Project Engineers, Site Engineers, Supervisors and subcontractors.
• Driving project programmes, budgets, forecasting and commercial performance.
• Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients, consultants and key stakeholders.
• Managing contractual obligations and mitigating project risks.
• Ensuring compliance with safety, environmental and quality standards.
• Supporting business growth through client engagement, tender reviews and strategic planning.

What you'll need to succeed

• Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline.
• Proven experience delivering large-scale civil infrastructure projects in a Project Manager or Senior Project Manager capacity.
• Strong commercial acumen with demonstrated experience managing project budgets, forecasting and contracts.
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop high-performing project teams.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and client relationship management capabilities.
• A collaborative management style and commitment to safety, quality and operational excellence.
• Experience across road, transport, utilities, subdivision or broader civil infrastructure projects will be highly regarded.
