Are you an experienced administrator with strong written communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment?

We are currently seeking multiple AO3 Administration Officers to join a large Queensland Government organisation for an initial contract through to the end of September 2026, with the possibility of extension.

Working within a busy operational team, you will be responsible for processing a high volume of work, reviewing information, preparing correspondence, responding to enquiries, and ensuring accurate records are maintained. This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable government experience within a supportive team environment.

Your new role

  • Process and review administrative documentation in line with established procedures
  • Draft and review written correspondence
  • Investigate and respond to client enquiries through various communication channels.
  • Analyse information and make informed decisions within delegated authority
  • Maintain accurate records and detailed case notes
  • Utilise internal systems to conduct research and process requests
  • Contribute to team performance and meet individual productivity targets
  • Deliver high-quality customer service to internal and external stakeholders

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:
  • Strong written communication and correspondence skills
  • Previous experience working in a high-volume administrative environment
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • The ability to interpret information and make sound decisions
  • Confidence working towards KPIs and service delivery targets

You may have previously worked as an: Administration Officer, Customer Service Officer, Case Management Support Officer, Correspondence Officer, Processing Officer, Claims Officer, Compliance Officer, Revenue Officer, Records Officer, Contact Centre Officer, Business Support Officer or Data Processing Officer.
