A State Government organisation is seeking experienced Administration Support Officers to join a busy operational team supporting the management of reports, records and stakeholder enquiries.
These roles are ideal for candidates who enjoy administrative coordination, data entry, record management and customer communication. Working within a supportive team environment, you will receive comprehensive training and play an important role in ensuring information is accurately captured, maintained and communicated.
Your new role
As an Administration Support Officer, you will provide critical support across reporting, records management and stakeholder communications functions.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Managing and maintaining accurate records within internal systems and databases
- Collecting, reviewing and updating information to ensure records are complete and current
- Processing, entering and maintaining case and reporting information
- Responding to enquiries and providing updates to stakeholders in a professional manner
- Preparing and sending email and SMS communications where required
- Liaising with internal and external stakeholders to obtain or provide information
- Monitoring shared inboxes and supporting information management activities
- Following established procedures and ensuring data accuracy at all times
- Assisting with operational reporting and administrative support activities
These are office-based positions operating on part-time schedules within a structured and supportive team environment.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful you will demonstrate:
- Previous administration, customer service, contact centre or data entry experience
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate records
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Confidence communicating with a range of stakeholders via phone and email
- Strong organisational skills and ability to manage routine workloads effectively
- Ability to follow policies, procedures and established processes
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills, including Outlook, Word and Excel
- A professional, reliable and team-oriented approach
Highly regarded:
- Experience working in a government, compliance or operational environment
- Experience maintaining databases, registers or case management systems
- Experience handling high volumes of information while maintaining accuracy
