Site Engineer | University/Education Project
Location: Gold Coast, QLD Work Type: Full-time Ready to deliver a high-profile project while enjoying the best of the Gold Coast lifestyle? We are seeking a proactive Site Engineer to join our delivery team on a university infrastructure project on the Gold Coast. This is an outstanding opportunity to gain hands-on experience on a complex, multi-faceted build featuring modern educational facilities, state-of-the-art labs, and sustainable building systems. About the Role
Working closely with the Project Engineer and Site Manager, you will play a crucial role in the day-to-day delivery of site operations, ensuring work is completed safely, on schedule, and to exact quality standards. Key responsibilities include:

Site Supervision & Execution: Coordinate daily trade operations, subcontractors, and suppliers to keep site activities running smoothly.

Quality Assurance (QA): Manage QA processes, complete ITPs (Inspection & Test Plans), and drive quality standards across all trades.

Technical Support: Review drawings, manage RFIs (Requests for Information), and resolve technical issues on-site alongside design teams and consultants.

Safety & Environment: Enforce site safety standards, conduct toolbox talks, and ensure strict compliance with WHS regulations.

Short-Term Programming: Help develop 2-to-4 week look-ahead schedules and track site progress against master milestones.

What You'll Bring

A tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering, Construction Management , or a related discipline.

1 to 3 years of experience as a Site Engineer within commercial, institutional, or major civil construction.

Valid White Card and relevant Australian work rights.

Strong technical acumen with the ability to read plans, manage QA systems, and troubleshoot site issues quickly.

Excellent communication skills to build solid working relationships with subcontractors, client representatives, and site crews.

Local Gold Coast or SEQ construction experience is highly regarded.
