Your new role
As a Senior Test Analyst, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality, reliability and performance of software applications and technology services through comprehensive testing and assurance activities.
Working closely with business stakeholders, project teams and technical delivery teams, you will be responsible for defining acceptance criteria, developing test strategies, executing testing activities and managing defects throughout the software delivery lifecycle. This position requires a proactive testing professional who can assess risk, provide quality assurance guidance and drive testing outcomes across complex technology environments.
Engage with business and technical stakeholders to understand requirements, risks and operational impacts.
Define measurable acceptance criteria for software solutions and enhancements.
Develop, maintain and execute test strategies, test plans and test cases.
Conduct system integration testing, regression testing and user acceptance testing.
Manage defect identification, analysis, prioritisation and retesting activities.
Ensure traceability between requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria and test outcomes.
Apply testing methodologies, tools and quality assurance practices
Produce high-quality testing artefacts, reports, metrics and documentation.
Provide guidance on testing standards, practices and continuous improvement initiatives.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful, you will bring proven experience in software and systems testing within complex enterprise, government, Defence or intelligence environments.
You will ideally possess:
Strong experience in Acceptance Testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
Demonstrated capability in System Integration Testing (SIT)
Experience developing comprehensive test plans, test cases and testing strategies.
Strong defect management and quality assurance experience.
Knowledge of testing methodologies, frameworks and industry best practices.
Experience applying SFIA-aligned testing and quality assurance practices.
Excellent stakeholder engagement and documentation skills.
Current NV1 Security Clearance (mandatory).
