An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Associate to join the Construction & Infrastructure team of a rapidly growing national law firm undergoing a significant period of transformation and growth.

Your new role

You will work closely with a highly regarded Construction Partner recognised for advising contractors, developers, project owners and government-facing entities on some of Australia's most significant infrastructure and energy projects.

The team advises on complex construction disputes across:

  • Major transport infrastructure projects
  • Renewable energy developments
  • Commercial and residential developments
  • Public infrastructure programmes
  • Government and contractor-side disputes
This role offers exposure to:

  • Construction litigation
  • International and domestic arbitration
  • Security of Payment matters
  • Dispute avoidance and strategic project advice
  • Alternative dispute resolution
  • High-value contractual disputes
The team's project portfolio includes major transport, rail, road, tunnel and renewable energy developments, providing excellent technical and commercial exposure.

What you'll need to succeed

You will ideally possess:

  • 5+ years' PAE in construction law
  • Admission to practice a lawyer in Australia
  • Strong disputes and litigation experience
  • Experience gained within a recognised boutique, mid-tier or top-tier firm
  • Excellent drafting, advisory and stakeholder management skills
  • A commercial and pragmatic approach to dispute resolution
  • The ability to work autonomously while collaborating within a high-performing team
