Business Analyst - Workday/HCM Project Your new company Hays is currently partnering with a leading organisation to recruit an experienced Business Analyst to support a large-scale ERP / HCM transformation program, playing a critical role in shaping and delivering enterprise-wide business solutions. Your new role As a Senior Business Analyst, you will work across a complex ERP/HCM implementation, engaging with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams to define, analyse and deliver business and system requirements. You will be instrumental in bridging the gap between business needs and technical delivery within a large-scale transformation environment. Key responsibilities

Lead business analysis activities across a large-scale ERP / HCM design and implementation programme Facilitate workshops to gather, validate and prioritise business and functional requirements Analyse current-state and future-state business processes, identifying opportunities for optimisation Develop high-quality artefacts including business requirements documents, process maps, user stories and functional specifications Collaborate closely with technical teams, vendors and system integrators to ensure alignment of solutions Support system configuration, testing (SIT/UAT), and deployment phases Provide expert advice on ERP/HCM best practices and governance frameworks Manage stakeholder engagement across multiple business units and senior leadership levels

What you'll need to succeed  

Proven experience as a Senior Business Analyst on large-scale ERP design and implementation projects (essential) Strong exposure to HCM platforms (e.g. Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM or similar) Demonstrated experience working across full project lifecycles, from discovery through to deployment Advanced stakeholder management and workshop facilitation skills Strong process mapping and documentation capabilities (e.g. BPMN, Visio) Experience working in complex transformation environments, ideally within enterprise or government organisations Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate business needs into technical requirements
