Job Description This is a key role where you will take ownership of our infrastructure, ensuring our systems are stable, secure, and fully optimized to support our community services. We are seeking a professional who excels in technical governance and is comfortable scheduling and conducting quality audit inspections. You will be responsible for ensuring our digital environment adheres to industry standards, performing regular reviews to maintain the high operational integrity our organization requires.

Key Responsibilities • Audit & Governance: Take the lead in scheduling and conducting quality audit inspections, including analysing and reviewing systems, data and documentation to ensure absolute compliance. • Risk Mitigation: Proactively identifying variations and potential high-risk areas to ensure our infrastructure and security procedures meet established standards. • Compliance Resolution: Recommending corrective action plans and improvements to resolve any non-compliance with standards detected through consistent monitoring and auditing of processes and procedures. • Stakeholder Liaison: Communicating, educating and liaising with users and management to ensure a high level of awareness and adherence to standards and quality control activities. • Dynamic User Support: Expertly managing and troubleshooting complex technical issues for both on-site and remote staff, utilizing RMM (Remote Monitoring and Management) tools to ensure seamless system access, minimal downtime, and high-performance operational continuity. • Service Excellence: Managing daily workflows through Incident Management, responding to tickets, and meeting Service Level Agreements (SLAs) within an ITSM and ITIL framework. • System Maintenance: Analysing, evaluating and diagnosing technical problems involving the installation and configuration of Windows OS (10-11), hardware, and security systems. • Hybrid Infrastructure & VDI Management: Expert administration of mission-critical services across On-site and Cloud environments, including Domain Controllers (DC), DNS, DHCP, File, Print and Exchange server, with specialized experience deploying and optimizing Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) via vSphere7/8 or Hyper-V to ensure high availability and secure remote access. • Technical Integrity: Testing, identifying and diagnosing functionality errors in systems and code within established testing protocols and quality standards. • Strategy & Architecture: Performing organisational systems architecture reviews and assessments to assist in recommending current and future hardware and software strategies. • Instruction & Documentation: Developing, conducting and providing technical guidance and training for users, while creating knowledge base and reviewing technical documentation such as procedural manuals and reports. • Infrastructure and Endpoint Management: Configuring and maintaining network devices (routers, switches, VLANs, firewalls) and managing endpoint fleets using HP Device Manager (HPDM) and MS Intune. • Microsoft 365 Administration: Providing full-scale administration of the M365 suite, including Exchange Online, Defender, SharePoint, and Teams. • Sector-Specific User Admin: Providing comprehensive user administration and technical support within Alayacare and LeeCare platforms to support frontline clinical and community operations.

Qualifications, Skills, and Experience Essential Requirements: • Experience: At least 2 years of experience in the IT industry, including a minimum of 1 year in a Level 2 support role. • Education: Bachelor’s degree and Higher in IT. • Technical Frameworks: Strong understanding and experience working within ITSM and ITIL service management environments. • OS & Server Expertise: Proven experience managing Windows OS (10-11), Windows Server (2019–2025) and iOS environments. • Infrastructure: A solid background in vSphere7/8/Hyper-V, Active Directory/Azure AD, and networking Administration. • Specialized Systems: Experience with VOIP (3CX or NEC Web Pro) and backup solutions like Veeam or Datto. • Modern Endpoint Management: Comprehensive experience in Mobile Device Management (MDM) and Mobile Application Management (MAM), utilizing tools like Microsoft Intune to secure and manage corporate data on various devices. • Network Security: Hands-on experience with Barracuda Firewall configuration, monitoring, and perimeter security management. • Advanced M365 Skills: Proven ability to administer Microsoft 365 environments, including security, licensing, and tenant configuration.

Desirable Skills: • Familiarity with Microsoft Intune, Apple Business Manager and HPDM for modern endpoint management. • Proven ability in portable app development for departments as required, developing software solutions to improve staff operational efficiency. • Proven ability to develop custom automation using Power Automate, Python, PowerShell. • Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to adapt to a fast-paced community services environment. • Prior experience or familiarity with specialized aged care/community software such as Alayacare and LeeCare. • Strong soft skills, including the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders with empathy and patience.
