You will assist with media responses, prepare content across multiple communication channels, coordinate approvals, support stakeholder engagement activities and contribute to incident response communications planning. The role requires strong judgement, attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities in a rapidly changing environment.

What you'll need to succeed
  • Experience in communications, media, public relations or stakeholder engagement ideally in a Government setting
  • Strong writing skills with the ability to develop clear public information
  • Experience preparing media materials, communication assets and briefings
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
  • Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills
  • Experience responding to sensitive or complex issues and enquiries
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines
  • Tertiary qualifications in communications, journalism, public relations or a related discipline are desirable
What you'll get in return
This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to meaningful public communication outcomes while gaining valuable experience within a complex and high-profile environment.
