Project Manager – Water

Job description

Project Manager – Water

Your new company
This well-established construction contractor has built a strong reputation for delivering a diverse range of projects across multiple sectors. With a steady pipeline of work and a supportive leadership team, they offer a collaborative environment where people are trusted to manage their own projects and build long-term careers.
The business delivers a high volume of projects each year, ranging from smaller upgrades through to projects valued at approximately $1.5 million, providing plenty of variety and autonomy for the right person.

Your new role
  • Managing projects from planning through to completion
  • Coordinating subcontractors and site trades
  • Overseeing site activities and carrying out site supervision responsibilities
  • Managing project programmes, budgets and client communication
  • Ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget
  • Building strong relationships with clients, suppliers and subcontractors
  • Managing several concurrent projects across different phases of delivery
  • This role offers a hands-on environment where you will be involved in both project management and site coordination rather than managing large-scale major projects.

What you'll need to succeed
  • Project management experience within the construction industry
  • Experience delivering projects in a live construction environment
  • Strong trade and subcontractor management skills
  • The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
  • A practical and solutions-focused approach to project delivery
  • A willingness to be involved in site-based activities when required

What you'll get in return
  • The opportunity to join a business with a strong team culture and high staff morale
  • A varied project portfolio with ongoing work
  • A supportive leadership team and genuine career growth opportunities
  • Long-term career stability with no immediate pressure on progression timelines
  • Competitive remuneration package based on experience
  • Exposure to a wide range of projects and stakeholders
