  • Leading and coordinating supervisors, crews, and subcontractors on site

  • Ensuring all work is delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget

  • Overseeing drilling, development, rising, and stoping activities in narrow-vein environments

  • Driving production performance, continuous improvement, and operational efficiency

  • Maintaining strong client relationships with site stakeholders and mining companies

  • Managing cost control, forecasting, and reporting against project KPIs

  • Ensuring compliance with all safety, environmental, and statutory requirements

    What you’ll need to succeed:

  • Strong technical understanding of underground mining methods and planning

  • Demonstrated ability to manage small specialist crews and complex scopes

  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills

  • Strong safety leadership and commitment to best practice

  • Relevant mining qualifications (e.g. Shift Boss / First Class Mine Manager highly regarded)

    What you’ll get in return

  • Opportunity to join a growing, specialist contractor with strong industry demand

  • Exposure to technically challenging and rewarding underground projects

  • Competitive salary package with performance incentives

  • Supportive leadership team and autonomy to drive results

  • Career progression as the business continues to expand
