Project Manager - Commercial Fitout Company Your new company Hays has partnered with a well-established and growing commercial construction business specialising in high-quality fitout and refurbishment projects across South East Queensland. With a strong pipeline of work and a reputation for delivering exceptional outcomes, they are seeking a motivated Project Manager to join their team. Your new role
As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing fitout projects from inception through to completion, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to a high standard. You will work closely with internal teams, subcontractors, and clients to ensure project success and consistently deliver on expectations.
Key responsibilities include:
End-to-end management of commercial fitout and refurbishment projects Managing project budgets, programmes, and forecasts Coordinating subcontractors, consultants, and site teams Ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements Building and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships Identifying and mitigating project risks
What you'll need to succeed
2-5 years' experience in a Project Manager or equivalent role within construction Demonstrated experience delivering commercial fitout projects Strong communication and stakeholder management skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines A relevant qualification in Construction Management, Engineering or similar A proactive and solutions-focused approach
