Production supervisor needed for a permanent role in Welshpool, paying up to $125'000+ super Your new company My client, a global leader, is growing over here in Australia and, for growth reasons, requires a production supervisor to be a 2IC to the production manager. Your new role In your new role as a Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing plant operations, driving product quality, managing a team, and ensuring the efficient production of high-quality products. Main responsibilities: Manage plant operations during shifts, ensuring production goals are met in efficiency, quality, waste reduction, and cost control. Ensure all products meet quality standards and customer specifications. Actively participate in audits (HACCP, GMP) to maintain compliance. Lead and develop your team by coaching, training, and supporting multi-skilling initiatives. Manage attendance and assist with recruitment. Oversee production schedules, prioritise tasks, and ensure raw materials are available to meet production demands. Manage employee records, including attendance and payroll adjustments. Maintain up-to-date training and skills matrices. What you'll need to succeed To be successful and considered for this role, you will have: At least 5 years in manufacturing, preferably within the beverage or FMCG industries, with experience in production supervision. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and effective communication skills. Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Dynamix, Kronos). Experience with lean manufacturing principles is a plus.
