Payroll Officer We are partnering with a multi-site national leader k nown for providing essential infrastructure solutions nationwide, their corporate head office in North Ryde is seeking an experienced, proactive Payroll Officer to join their high-performing national payroll team .
This position is ideal for a confident payroll professional with strong systems knowledge in Chris21 and multiple Enterprise agreement exposure. You'll:

Manage end-to-end processing for high-volume employee populations across weekly, fortnightly, and monthly pay cycles .

Maintain accurate employee Masterfile records, processing new starters, organisational transfers, position changes, and complex termination reconciliations .

Import, audit, and validate time and attendance data from timekeeping systems into Chris21 .

Interpret and apply diverse, multi-site Enterprise Agreements (EAs) and Modern Awards to ensure accurate wage calculations, allowances, and penalty rates.

Serve as an approachable first point of contact for employee and manager queries, resolving issues promptly with high customer service standards .

What we are looking for

Proven experience in a hands-on, full-function payroll processing experience in a fast-paced, multi-site environment .

Proven, essential expertise using Chris21 (or iChris).

Demonstrated capability handling high-volume payrolls (company sizes 2000+) .

Strong knowledge of Australian payroll legislation, superannuation, tax, and complex Enterprise Agreements .

Exceptional attention to detail, strong data management skills, and clear verbal and written communication .

A resilient, solution-focused attitude with the ability to work effectively in a team environment .
