HR Business Partner - ANZ

Your new role

  • Reporting to the ANZ Country Lead, you will be the key HR Business Partner responsible for delivering both strategic and operational HR support across Australia and New Zealand for over 120 employees with a mix of white collar corporate, sales, marketing, supply chain and finance.
  • You will partner with managers to drive people initiatives, provide expert advice on employee relations matters and ensure HR processes support business growth and performance.
  • Managing end-to-end HR operations and employee life cycle activities
  • Providing guidance on performance management, employee relations and workplace matters, including workplace investigations
  • Developing and setting career development plans
  • Talent management and succession planning projects

  • Managing the annual performance and salary review process
  • Leading recruitment activities for key positions across the business as well as onboarding
  • Driving HR projects, process improvements and policy development in line with global initiatives
  • Managing HRIS system, reporting when needed and ensuring HR compliance
  • Partnering with global and regional HR teams to implement initiatives and best practice
  • Managing any WHS or Workers Comp issues
  • Delivery of DE&I and Wellbeing programs

What you'll need to succeed

  • To be successful in this role, you will be a proactive and commercially minded HR professional who combines strong operational capability with the ability to influence and partner strategically.
  • Demonstrated experience ideally as an HR Business Partner within a complex global business environment
  • Ideally, experience of working in a global or APAC business with an understanding of matrix structures
  • Industry experience is important, so past or current knowledge of the medical, biotech or private healthcare sector is required
  • Strong knowledge of Australian employment legislation and HR best practice
  • Excellent knowledge and expertise in all areas of ER, workers comp, WHS and performance management
  • Experience in talent management, succession planning and leadership coaching
  • Strong expertise using HRIS systems and producing reports and insights
  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills including coaching leaders and partnering with similar aligned white collar client groups
  • The ability to work autonomously while collaborating across regional and global teams

  • Salary range for this role is of $130,000 - $150,000 base + super + bonus – this not a senior strategic role and is ideal for someone who has 2 – 3 years as an HR Business partner and looking to elevate their experience and career further.
