DR Brothers Pty Ltd, trading as Tucker Box Motor Inn, is seeking a reliable and organised General Clerk to join our friendly team on a permanent full-time basis. This role is ideal for someone with strong administrative skills, excellent customer service, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
Key Responsibilities Perform a wide range of administrative and clerical duties. Record, prepare, sort, classify, and file documents and information. Answer telephone calls, emails, and guest enquiries professionally. Manage guest bookings, reservations, and customer records. Record the issue of equipment to staff. Sort, open, and distribute incoming mail, and prepare outgoing mail. Photocopy, scan, and prepare routine documents and reports. Receive and relay telephone messages and correspondence. Enter, update, proofread, and maintain accurate computer records. Provide guests with information about motel services and local attractions. Process payments and maintain accurate financial records. Maintain organised office filing systems and administrative records. Assist with guest check-in and check-out when required. Liaise with housekeeping and maintenance teams to support smooth daily operations. Monitor and order office supplies. Provide administrative support to motel management. Perform reception duties as required.
Skills and Experience AQF Certificate II or III (ANZSCO Skill Level 4) or equivalent qualification. Previous experience in an administrative, clerical, reception, or hospitality role is preferred. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong customer service and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and computer-based booking systems. Excellent organisational and time management abilities. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. High attention to detail and accuracy. Professional presentation with a positive, can-do attitude.
