Limited Job Details Type Full time Salary 37-44 Hourly Publish date 23 Apr, 2026 Expiry date 23 May, 2026 Category Trades & Services / Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Location Seven Hills Sydney New South Wales About the Role Cutting metal Sheet Metal Worker Cutting out of ductwork on Laser Cutter Lifting of flat metal sheets and walking them to the laser cutter bed before placing on the machine to start manufacturing process Removing now cut smaller pieces of Sheetmetal and feeding them through different machines to continue the manufacture process Manually cutting metal/ductwork Reading and understanding technical drawings Measuring and mark out materials with the use of plot points, template, scratch gauges and other measuring instruments Using sheet metal guillotine Cutting insulation to suit ductwork requirements Using an insulation knife cut larger (15kg) sheets on insulation into smaller pieces Knocking together ductwork Picking up folded metal pieces and assembling them by hammering together seams Assembling ductwork/items Using a pan brake to manually fold/roll/press small pieces to their correct shape Welding/oxy-acetylene bracing light and heavy steel Install ductwork onsite Benefits Join an ever expanding small business in the HVAC industry that provides opportunity for growth and development. Work from technical drawings and site plans. Ensure all installations meet safety and quality standards. Collaborate with site supervisors and other trades to meet project deadlines.
