Your new role

We are seeking a motivated trade-qualified Boilermaker to join a high-performing maintenance and fabrication team supporting a major industrial operation in the Gladstone region. Working within a busy workshop environment, you will be responsible for the repair and rebuild of plant equipment, welding and fabrication work, and general maintenance activities within a safety-critical operation.

This is a 6 - 12 month contract working a Lifestyle Roster with a competitive flat hourly rate.

Please note: This role is only open to candidates who are residential to the Gladstone region including Gladstone, Boyne Island, Tannum Sands, Calliope, Miriam Vale and surrounding areas.

What you'll need to succeed

• Trade Certificate – Boilermaker

• Construction White Card

• Current Confined Space ticket

• Current Working at Heights ticket

• Demonstrated experience in aluminium and steel welding

• Gas cutting and lancing experience

• Strong commitment to workplace safety

• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol screening and face fit testing

Highly desirable:

• Previous heavy industrial, refinery, smelter or processing plant experience

• Shutdown and maintenance experience

• Dogging (DG)

• Basic Rigging (RB)

• Forklift (LF)

• EWP

• First Aid

• Fire Extinguisher Training
