This organisation plays a key role in asset planning, facilities management, marine infrastructure delivery and stakeholder engagement across a diverse asset portfolio.
Your new role
As the Assets and Facilities Manager, you will lead the development and continuous improvement of asset management systems, plans and processes across a diverse infrastructure portfolio. Key responsibilities include: Developing and implementing strategic asset management plans and policies Managing facilities, infrastructure assets, leases, licences and permits Leading asset inspections, condition assessments and renewal planning Preparing business cases, budgets and asset management reports Managing procurement, contracts, consultants and maintenance contractors Driving asset management maturity and continuous improvement initiatives Engaging with internal and external stakeholders to support operational outcomes
What you'll need to succeed
Strong experience in asset and facilities management within a civil, infrastructure, local government or public sector environment Experience managing infrastructure assets, maintenance programmes and contractor performance Knowledge of asset management planning, condition assessments, life cycle management and asset renewal forecasting Demonstrated experience in procurement, contract administration and stakeholder engagement Ability to develop business cases, strategic plans and asset management frameworks Strong communication skills with the ability to present to management, committees and key stakeholders Qualifications in Asset Management, Engineering, Civil Infrastructure, Facilities Management or a related discipline will be highly regarded
