Accounts Payable Team Leader

Your new company

This leading Australian company that operates across multiple industries is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Team Leader to join their finance team on a full-time permanent basis. This position will be based in their Brisbane CBD offices, which has extensive lunchtime eating options and is located close to public transport connections.

Your new role

Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, you will be responsible for the following:
  • Manage the workflow of the accounts payable function including hands-on processing
  • Ensure all invoices are entered
  • Ensure all payments are processed by required deadlines
  • Monitoring performance of the accounts payable team
  • Identify and improve processes within the accounts payable function
  • Liaise with various key stakeholders both internally and externally
  • Handling any queries via phone and email

What you'll need to succeed

In order to be successful, you will meet the following requirements:
  • Previous experience working in a Senior Accounts Payable role
  • Ability to supervise / lead a small AP team
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle high volumes
  • Excellent communication skills and being committed to providing excellent customer service
