Your new company

This Queensland-based company that operates in the construction industry is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Officer to join their finance team on a 12-month fixed-term contract basis initially. The position will be based in their Brisbane Inner North offices, which are located close to various public transport connections and street parking is available.

Your new role

Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, you will be responsible for the following:
  • Supplier set up and maintenance
  • 3-way matching
  • Data entry of accounts payable invoices
  • Assisting with preparing payment runs
  • Creditor reconciliations
  • Liaising with suppliers regarding queries

What you'll need to succeed

In order to be successful, you will meet the following requirements:
  • Previous experience in medium to higher volume accounts payable processing
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work well as part of a team
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail
