Your new role
As a Water Truck Operator, you will be responsible for operating water trucks across a range of council works and infrastructure projects throughout the Emerald, Blackwater and Capella region. Your duties will include carrying out daily pre-start inspections, identifying and reporting hazards, completing basic plant and vehicle maintenance, and assisting with general labouring duties as required. This role offers an immediate start, accommodation provided, and the opportunity to work a family-friendly 9-day fortnight roster.
What you'll need to succeed
Current HC Driver's Licence (minimum requirement)
Minimum 12 months of water truck operating experience
Construction Industry White Card
Additional plant tickets highly regarded
Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and Drug & Alcohol screening
Strong commitment to workplace health and safety
Contactable recent work references
Ability to work in the Emerald, Blackwater and Capella region (local or willing to DIDO)
