Your new role

• Lead strategic sourcing and category management activities.
• Develop and present sourcing strategies to key stakeholders.
• Manage complex procurement and tender processes from planning through to contract award.
• Lead tender evaluations, supplier negotiations, and commercial discussions.
• Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
• Conduct market analysis and procurement research to support decision-making.
• Mentor and support procurement team members, providing guidance and professional development.
• Review procurement documentation, evaluations and recommendations to ensure quality and compliance.

What you'll need to succeed

• Extensive experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or category management.
• Proven experience leading complex or high-risk procurement activities.
• Strong tendering, contract management and supplier negotiation experience.
• Exceptional stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills.
• Strong analytical and commercial acumen.
• Excellent written communication and report-writing skills.
• Experience mentoring, coaching or supervising procurement professionals.
• Current unrestricted C Class Driver Licence.
