Sheet Metal Worker Employer Sponsorship Available | Perth, WA | Full-Time MYAC Resources is currently seeking experienced Sheet Metal Workers to join our growing network of leading Australian employers across Perth, Western Australia. About the Role As a Sheet Metal Worker, you'll play a key role in the fabrication, assembly and repair of precision sheet metal components used across a variety of manufacturing, engineering and industrial projects. Working in modern, well-equipped workshops, you'll be part of a professional team delivering quality workmanship while maintaining the highest safety standards.

Your responsibilities will include:
• Fabricating and assembling sheet metal components to specification
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings, technical plans and fabrication details
• Cutting, folding, bending, rolling and shaping sheet metal
• MIG and TIG welding where required
• Operating fabrication equipment including press brakes, guillotines, rollers, punches and other workshop machinery
• Measuring, marking and preparing materials for fabrication
• Repairing, modifying and installing fabricated components
• Conducting quality inspections to ensure finished products meet engineering specifications Maintaining workshop equipment and ensuring a clean, organised work environment
• Working safely in accordance with all workplace health and safety procedures

About You To be successful in this role, you'll have:
• Trade qualification as a Sheet Metal Worker, Metal Fabricator or equivalent recognised trade qualification
• Previous experience in sheet metal fabrication
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and fabrication plans
• Experience operating fabrication machinery and workshop equipment
• Strong fabrication, measuring and welding skills
• High attention to detail with pride in producing quality workmanship
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Strong commitment to workplace safety and quality standards

Highly Regarded While not essential, the following experience will be highly regarded:
• MIG and TIG welding experience
• Stainless steel and aluminium fabrication experience
• Experience working in manufacturing, mining or heavy industrial environments
• Forklift Licence
• Overhead Crane experience
• Current Australian Driver's Licence
• Experience with precision fabrication and custom metalwork
