Job description

• Coordinate engineering activities across the project lifecycle.
• Support project planning, scheduling and technical risk management.
• Develop and review mechanical designs, assemblies and engineering documentation.
• Create and maintain 3D CAD models and technical drawings using Creo or CAD.
• Manage engineering change processes and design modifications.
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project objectives are achieved.
• Support design reviews, verification and validation activities.
• Ensure compliance with defence, quality and engineering standards.
• Collaborate with manufacturing and production teams to support successful delivery outcomes.

• Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering or a related discipline.
• Demonstrated experience working as a Project Engineer within defence, aerospace, heavy vehicle, manufacturing or other complex engineering environments.
• Strong mechanical design experience.
• Strong experience using PTC Creo or CAD for 3D modelling and design activities.
• Experience producing and managing engineering drawings, BOMs and technical documentation.
• Exposure to PLM systems such as Windchill would be highly regarded.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• Ability to work within multidisciplinary engineering teams and manage competing priorities.
