We are seeking applications from Senior Occupational Therapists to join our OT Rehab at Home service, on a casual roster with potential permanent positions available in the next 3 to 6 months. As a Senior Occupational Therapist - Grade 2 or 3 depending on your experience, you'll join a collaborative multidisciplinary team, delivering high-quality, client-centred occupational therapy services that empower people to achieve their goals and maintain independence in the comfort of their own homes.
This senior role offers the opportunity to apply your specialist clinical expertise, work independently, and influence best practice across the service. You'll also play a key role in mentoring and developing junior clinicians, supervising students, and contributing to education, quality improvement, and research initiatives that shape the future of care.

We are the At-Home Team for each of the SJOG hospitals across WA and work out of the Osborn Park Office, SJG Murdoch and SJG Midland hospitals to accommodate most metro areas.
This position will be offered on a casual basis with an expectation of 1-2 shifts weekly depending on caseload with potential permanent positions available in the next 3 to 6 months.
The Position:
Provide Occupational Therapy treatment at a senior level.
Complete of comprehensive patient assessment (e.g. assessment of personal care, domestic and community ADLs, assessment of the home environment, cognitive and functional physical assessment as required).
Provide comprehensive treatment intervention and appropriate progression treatment to match functional goals to manage complex patients.
In conjunction with the Supervisor-Manager and other Occupational Therapy caregivers, develop processes for the evaluation of both inpatient and outpatient Occupational Therapy programs.
Put patients-clients plans in place and monitor outcomes regularly through attendance at and participation in multi-disciplinary team meetings.
Strive for high satisfaction levels of patients, clients and external agencies.
Complete appropriate administrative duties. Liaise with the administration team, report statistical data and ensure completion of progress notes.
Demonstrates consolidated, current knowledge of research, evidence based practice in Occupational Therapy and related clinical areas.
Act as a clinical consultant for the discipline and within the specialty.
Exercise independent professional judgment on routine matters. Obtain direct professional supervision from more senior caregivers when performing novel, complex or critical tasks.
We are looking for those who enjoy working collaboratively, are committed to continuous improvement and keen to contribute to innovative clinical practice while supporting the development of others. Strong communication and interpersonal skills will be essential for building positive relationships and working effectively with clients from diverse cultural, linguistic, and social backgrounds. Occupational Therapists with Rehab in the Home (RITH), community care and-or home visiting experience are encouraged to apply. Hospital experience is not necessary.
To succeed in this role, you will hold a Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy and current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). You'll bring senior clinical experience, ideally within healthcare or disability services, along with a passion for delivering evidence-based, persocentred care. A current driver's licence and Working With Children Card is essential for this community-based role.

We can offer you
Casual Rate: $82.55 to $88.02 per hour (inclusive of casual loading) plus 12% superannuation
Casual position offering 1-2 shifts per week depending on case load
