A government organisation is in search of a Senior Business Analyst to support ICT transformation projects.
Your new role
Working as part of a high-profile transformation team, you will lead the development of target-state process maps across key business functions. Leveraging existing documentation and engaging closely with stakeholders, you will facilitate workshops, challenge current thinking, and ensure future-state processes are aligned to transformation objectives.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Process mapping
- Facilitating and supporting interactive workshops with business SMEs and stakeholders
- Reviewing existing process documentation and using it as a foundation for future-state process design
- Consolidating and uplifting existing process artefacts to ensure clear end-to-end lifecycle mapping
- Aligning process maps to agreed frameworks, standards and input artefacts
- Validating process designs with stakeholders to maximise workshop outcomes and efficiency
- Conducting additional stakeholder engagement as required to support process completion
- Producing high-quality target-state process maps to agreed standards and levels of detail
- Supporting governance forums, status reporting, and operating model decision-making activities
- Providing constructive challenge and recommendations to improve business processes and operating effectiveness
What you'll need to succeed
You are a collaborative and solutions-focused Senior Business Analyst who enjoys working in complex environments and influencing positive change. You combine strong analytical capability with exceptional stakeholder engagement skills and can confidently work across all levels of an organisation.
To be successful, you will demonstrate:
- 5+ years' experience working as a Senior Business Analyst
- Six Sigma certification (or equivalent process improvement qualification)
- Proven experience developing target-state process maps within large-scale business or operating model transformation programs
- Experience conducting current-state assessments, process analysis, and process redesign activities
- Knowledge or exposure to Asset Management and/or Facilities Management environments
- Excellent workshop facilitation and stakeholder management skills
- Strong problem-solving, analytical and documentation capabilities
- The ability to navigate ambiguity and deliver outcomes in complex transformation settings
Tools & Technology
You will have experience using process mapping and collaboration tools such as:
- Microsoft Visio
- Lucidchart
- Miro
- Or similar process design and mapping platforms
