Reservations Agent

Job description

Randstad is currently partnering with a prominent Australian commercial property and hospitality group to recruit a guest-oriented, experienced professional who is comfortable in a fast-paced, multi-tasked environment for their established Gold Coast headquarters. To support core operational workflows and guest service hours, this permanent position requires full availability to work weekends each week on a fixed Friday to Tuesday roster.
This role sits directly at the heart of the guest journey, balancing front-of-house service excellence with smooth administrative support. You will take ownership of daily booking requests, assist guests with their travel itineraries, and help maintain high service standards across the group.
If you are a proactive professional who enjoys keeping administrative tasks organised, working within a supportive team, and delivering exceptional customer experiences, we encourage you to apply now.
Key Responsibilities
In this position, you will coordinate daily reservation workflows and ensure high-quality service delivery across several key areas:

Respond to all incoming email, phone, and in-person guest enquiries, providing a helpful and seamless booking experience.
Utilise internal database systems to accurately input booking details, update guest profiles, and organise digital files.
Process daily booking deposits, handle final balance payments securely, and assist with basic monthly administrative reviews.
Coordinate member services and general enquiry handling, ensuring premium customer service and polite dispute resolution.
Manage daily check-lists and pre-arrival tasks, keeping communication open with property teams to ensure a smooth guest arrival.
Partner with the management team to follow standard operating procedures, track daily tasks, and maintain accurate documentation.

Key Requirements

Prior experience working within a hotel, multi-property networks, or holiday clubs is highly regarded.
Availability and commitment to work consistent weekends (weekly roster of Friday to Tuesday). Comfortable navigating internal computer systems and using Microsoft Excel to track daily workflows and guest schedules.
Experience working with modern ticketing platforms, customer databases, or digital payment gateways.
Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills to answer guest questions and collaborate effectively with internal teams.
A friendly, practical problem-solver who enjoys multi-tasking and contributing to a happy, organised team environment.

What is on offer?

A permanent, full-time role offering a competitive salary with an established market leader.
Partner directly with an experienced leader focused on your professional development and daily success.
Based in a central Gold Coast location, joining a close-knit, positive team culture that values collaboration and a proactive workplace environment.
