Your new company

Our client is a leading gold mining operator with active underground operations across WA. With a strong focus on safety, production excellence, and continuous improvement, this organisation is seeking an experienced project mine geologist to support ongoing underground operations during a critical project phase.

Key responsibilities include:

• Face and development mapping and sampling
• Production geology interpretation and decision-making
• Ore control, ore mark-up and grade control activities
• Core logging, processing and geological data capture
• Technical work plan preparation and sign-off for drilling and mining activities
• Database management, updates and reporting
• Building strong relationships with underground supervisors and operational crews
• Working autonomously while maintaining high safety and performance standards

What you'll need to succeed

• 4+ years’ of relevant underground mine geology experience
• Strong underground production geology background
• Experience with Surpac and Datashed is highly desirable
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and police check
