Your new role
Working on a 2:1 FIFO roster, you will provide electrical engineering and project delivery support across construction and commissioning activities, ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. You will work closely with subcontractors, site teams, and project stakeholders to coordinate electrical scopes and drive successful project outcomes.
Key responsibilities include:
Managing and coordinating electrical construction activities on site.
Overseeing electrical subcontractors and ensuring compliance with project specifications.
Preparing scopes of work, budgets, schedules, and project reports.
Monitoring project progress, costs, quality, and safety performance.
Supporting testing, commissioning, and energisation activities.
Coordinating electrical interfaces with civil and mechanical work packages.
Ensuring compliance with Australian Standards, client requirements, and statutory regulations.
Managing variations, technical queries, and project documentation.
What you'll need to succeed
Degree in Electrical Engineering.
Experience delivering electrical projects across renewables, utilities, infrastructure, mining or power sectors.
Experience managing subcontractors and site-based works.
Knowledge of Australian standards, commissioning and project delivery.
Experience with planning, scheduling, budgeting and contract administration.
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced construction environment.
