An established and growing organisation is seeking a Procurement Consultant to join their high-performing team, delivering complex procurement and commercial outcomes across major Defence programs. This is an opportunity to work alongside industry experts on projects that directly contribute to Australia's national security and Defence objectives.

Your new role

In this role, you will provide procurement and commercial expertise across the full procurement lifecycle, supporting strategic sourcing activities, contract management, tender evaluations and supplier engagement. You will work closely with Defence stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered in line with Commonwealth Procurement Rules and Defence procurement frameworks.

• Managing end-to-end procurement processes for Defence-related projects.
• Developing procurement strategies and approaching the market.
• Preparing tender documentation, evaluation reports, and contract documentation.
• Providing commercial and contract management advice to internal and external stakeholders.
• Supporting complex acquisitions using ASDEFCON and Defence procurement frameworks.
• Building strong relationships with Defence, industry partners, and suppliers.

What you'll need to succeed

You will bring Defence or Commonwealth procurement experience, a strong understanding of procurement governance and legislation, exposure to ASDEFCON contracting, and the ability to build trusted stakeholder relationships. You will thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities while holding or being eligible to obtain an NV1 Security Clearance.
