An established mining operation in North West Queensland is seeking an experienced Process Operator Maintainer to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity to secure a permanent role within a small, close-knit operation where you'll have the chance to be involved across all aspects of site operations and maintenance.

About the Role

Working within a small processing operation, you will play a key role in both operating and maintaining fixed plant equipment. This is a hands-on position suited to someone who enjoys variety and being involved in all facets of site operations.

Responsibilities include:

• Operating and monitoring crushing and processing equipment
• Completing daily pre-start inspections
• Conducting routine maintenance and troubleshooting activities
• Assisting with fixed plant breakdowns and repairs
• Supporting safe and efficient plant performance
• Contributing to general site activities and housekeeping
• Working collaboratively with production and maintenance teams

What you'll need to suceed

To be successful in this position, you will have:

• Trade qualification essential (Mechanical Fitter or Electrician preferred)
• Previous experience in a processing plant, wash plant, crushing or mineral processing environment
• Strong fixed plant maintenance knowledge
• Ability to troubleshoot and identify plant issues
• Current manual driver's licence
• Strong commitment to safety
• Ability to work independently within a small operation
