  • Provide leadership to a team of power systems and grid engineering professionals across the region.
  • Review tender documentation, technical specifications, RFIs and contractual deliverables.
  • Support commercial negotiations relating to electrical and grid compliance matters.
  • Manage and improve technical processes, tools and procedures associated with balance of plant and grid connection activities.
  • Collaborate with legal, engineering, construction and project teams to ensure contractual obligations are achieved.
  • Provide strategic technical advice that balances customer requirements, project risk and commercial outcomes.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Degree-qualified in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems Engineering or a related discipline.
  • 10+ years' experience within the electrical power, utilities or renewable energy sector.
  • Extensive experience managing grid connection processes and electrical compliance requirements.
  • Strong understanding of power systems studies, generator performance standards and connection frameworks.
  • Demonstrated experience leading teams and mentoring technical specialists.
  • Experience negotiating technical and commercial outcomes with customers, consultants and network stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience within renewable energy, power generation or transmission projects will be highly regarded.
  • Professional Engineer registration (RPEQ, RPEng, CPEng or equivalent) is advantageous.

What you'll get in return

  • Opportunity to work on nationally significant renewable energy projects.
  • Exposure to complex grid and power systems challenges across Australia and APAC.
  • Flexible working arrangements.
  • Competitive remuneration package.
  • Genuine career progression opportunities within a growing global organisation.
  • Collaborative and inclusive workplace culture focused on innovation and sustainability.
